The book will be available in March 2019. The premiere and public discussion of the documentary film “Malevich” (production of FRESH production) is a significant event of the Forum. Before showing the artist’s grand-niece read a poem by Kazimir Malevich. And the film was a surprise not only in connection with the episode about the address and the house in Kiev, where the artist was born. He presented many interesting parallels, stories, interviews, and, most importantly, he presented a practically detective story with the implementation of Kazimir Malevich’s plan.
Once the artist conceived a film with the main "heroes" in the form of objects of his paintings, and discussed his idea with the German director, worked on the script. The manuscript, the storyboard, including instructions on the duration of the display of objects, the first version of the film, created in the early 70s, but never saw the light ... Finally, the hypnotic act, the embodiment of Malevich's plan, on the screen in the hall on February 23, 2019, on day 140 anniversary of the artist. Before the presentation of the book about the great avant-garde artist in the hall, the clink of glasses sounded. And it's not about welcome champagne clattering. Empty glasses of water fell on the floor exactly a couple of minutes before the creators of the book began the presentation. "The table was inadvertently pushed," then seated in the front rows assured. "It is the spirit of the Artist that greeted us all," people in the back whispers whispered.
Without going into spiritualistic nuances, we note that the forum on the opening day not only gathered a large number of guests, but also demonstrated how the paintings on the wall in the hall become participants in a performance dedicated to Kazimir Severinovich.
In the near future, the Arthive will publish articles on the most interesting and relevant topics covered in the forum. Thematic week in the Arthive with materials about the artist and his work: # Kazimir Malevich
